The Curriculum Committee

The main aims of the Committee are “to ensure that the school meets the legal requirements (including daily acts of worship) in relation to the curriculum”. 

At our meetings during the year 04/05, amongst other topics, we specifically considered:-

 

·        The 2004 examination results and analysis of the annual PANDA report (Performance and Assessment comparisons).

·        A formal policy on Governors’ visits into school, which is now being implemented.

·        The change in Assembly patterns, and how these are working.

·          Sixth form options and group sizes.

·        Staffing and the curriculum.

·        The whole school policy re Personal Social Health and Citizenship education.
