Losing Weight
Water based exercise especially swimming is an effective way to lose body weight. Swimming is a moderate intensity activity which is ideal compared to health expert’s recommendations of five, 30 minutes sessions of moderate activity per week.
Swimming is an ideal activity to start losing weight this is because it doesn’t put extra pressure on joints and ligaments if you are carrying extra body weight.
With the ability to isolate the arms and legs it can also allow people who have certain injuries to still train effectively and maintain a stable body weight.
