The Christleton High
School Association

Every parent/ guardian of a student at Christleton High School is automatically a member of the CHSA. Our aims are to raise funds to help improve our children’s experience at school and to provide a social meeting place for parents.

We organise our events and services at our committee meetings which we hold once per half-term in the School Staff Room.  The meeting dates and times are advertised on the CHSA and the school calendars.

We also provide services to the school such as serving refreshments at parents' evenings and social functions.

Over the last few years we have held many functions including quizzes, dances, talent shows and a murder mystery evening.  Our functions are advertised on the website and tickets are usually available at the school cash office.

In the past, we have provided funds for:

  • School Minibus
  • Piano
  • New staging
  • £4000 for Science Department
  • Matched funding for the 6th Form Common Room
  • Funding for the specialist school status
  • Radio equipment for the school's amateur radio club
  • Sports equipment
  • £5000 for the new school library
  • £500 for the Duke of Edinbugh Award Scheme

Please feel free to attend a committee meeting to meet members and perhaps join us.  There is no obligation to serve as a committee member, but we always need volunteers to help at events and would be delighted to meet you.
