Uniform
Uniform can be purchased from the Cash Office or the Main Reception, which are both open every weekday during term time, and mornings only during holidays. Not all uniform is available and trousers, skirts, shirts and blouses, should be purchased elsewhere.
Students are expected to wear appropriate uniform, and to be neat and tidy at all times. All uniform should be clearly named. Sportswear, hooded tops which are made from sweatshirt material (with or without zips) caps, scarves and handbags are not part of the school uniform and should not be brought into school. These items will be confiscated by Form Tutors during registration.
- Shirts are to be buttoned up and tucked in at all times.
- School jumpers should always be worn.
- Ties should be correctly tied into a fastened collar.
- Inappropriate jewellery will be confiscated. Students may wear a wristwatch and studs or sleepers in their ears. Facial piercings are not acceptable.
- Make-up is inappropriate for KS3 students; light make-up is permitted for KS4 students.
The school has the right to send home students who do not attend in appropriate uniform so that they can change into the correct uniform.
