Year 6 - Year 7 Transition
Applying to CHS
We are delighted that you are considering our school for your child as they make the next step in their educational journey. Christleton High School is an oversubscribed OFSTED rated ’Outstanding’ school with over 1350 students. We pride ourselves on striving to embody the 5c’s that make up our core values: caring, commitment, cheerful, collaborative and creative.
Below is a virtual tour of our school and grounds where you can hear about our core values and ethos from Mr Jones and meet key staff and learn valuable information to help you make your decision. You also get the chance to meet some of our fantastic students and hear about what they love about being part of community.

The Swan, School Magazine
The most recent issues are available to download from our website and should help to give a feel for all the activities and opportunities that we offer.
Christleton High School is pleased to offer you the facility to make Online Payments to school via Parentpay. This facility will make it easier for you to order and pay for credit for your child’s Cashless Catering account, trips, events and equipment. There are a number of benefits including:
- A simple to use website
- Payments are made through Visa Checkout and are secure and reliable
- Parents can view their payment history online
- A reduced risk of students losing cash
There is a detailed internet payment instruction manual available for download at the bottom of the page which we would recommend reading, but if you already order goods online you will recognise the procedures (select goods - add to basket - checkout). For items to be collected, these will be available for collection the next school day at break or lunchtime from the Finance Office (subject to item being in stock).
To create a new account, please click on the link below. You will need to have your child’s Temporary user name and password that has been emailed to the parent(s)/guardian(s) of existing students and will be given to new starters as part of their induction.
If you have any questions please email the Finance Office firstname.lastname@example.org
